Babbacombe Bay Bloomers

Babbacombe Bay Bloomers are local volunteers who care for floral displays, wildlife areas and green spaces across St Marychurch and Babbacombe throughout the year.

Their work includes the St Marychurch Precinct planters, Millennium Copse, Rose Garden, Abbey School and Chilcote Memorial Corner, Foxlands Walk and wildlife planting on Babbacombe Downs. They also undertake litter picking and work alongside local traders and SWISCo.

In 2025 Babbacombe Bay received an RHS South West in Bloom Gold Award and won the Portman Cup—the first Torbay town to receive the cup.
