A new community effort has got off to a brilliant start in St Marychurch, with thirteen volunteers joining the first St Marychurch & Babbacombe Litter Pick.
The group met in the precinct to help keep the area clean, tidy and welcoming. It was a strong first turnout and a lovely reminder of what can happen when local people give an hour of their time.
The litter-picking group meets every Thursday at 10.15am, alternating between St Marychurch and Babbacombe. Everyone is welcome, whether you can help regularly or just join in when you can. After the pick, volunteers get together for a sociable coffee and chat.
