Halloween plans are growing
The St Marychurch Halloween Trail runs from 26–31 October. Trail packs are £1 cash and available from The Falcones, Animals in Distress and Torbay Scrapstore. The fancy-dress competition takes place at Molloy’s at 4pm on Saturday 31 October, with prizes across three age groups.
Also confirmed: Poppins Pottery’s children’s Halloween parties on 29 and 30 October; Frightlights at Babbacombe Model Village from 26–31 October; and The Dolphin’s children’s party and Madchester evening on Halloween itself. Please check the individual venue before travelling or booking.
St Marychurch is on the visitor map
Visit South Devon’s new St Marychurch feature gives the village a proper visitor-facing introduction: the precinct, independent businesses, creative side and Heritage Trail all get a mention. It is a lovely reminder that a browse, a coffee, something creative and a little history can make a very good day out close to home.
New around the precinct
- Lloyd Maunder: wild rabbit and venison, diced or steaks, are currently in stock.
- Koots Salon: October appointments are filling, so book ahead if you have a date in mind.
- Tweek’d Aesthetics: an October booking offer is available by appointment, subject to its usual consultation and suitability checks.
- Willow & Ro Jewellery Bar and Witch Bobbins: both have new jewellery in store.
